“Things fall apart; the center cannot hold” is from W. B. Yeats's indelible poem about chaos, The Second Coming. The phrase kept entering my mind as an apt metaphor for what happens in our daily lives and what is happening in the world.
In this current moment it often seems that our world is falling apart, from the mundane experience of annoying internet error messages to news of war in Ukraine.
